Steroid and hyaluronic acid injections provide quick acting, short term relief for specific joints.

Corticosteroids are synthetic drugs that block inflammation by acting like hormones in your body. Since joint inflammation is a major cause of osteoarthritis pain, steroid injections can help for a while.

Hyaluronic acid is a artificial copy of the body’s natural own lubricating fluid. It has been proven to help with 75-85% of cases and relieve symptoms for 3-6 months with minimal risk.

Some examples of conditions these injections could help with are:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Tennis elbow/golfers elbow
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Trigger finger
  • De Quervain syndrome
  • Carpal tunnel
  • Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
